Die Befreiung des Alphabets

Und schon wieder ein Buch … Nein, diesmal kein Ratrace Produkt a.k.a. »jeder der mal eine Dose geschwungen bzw. einmal Styles realisiert hat veröffentlicht jetzt ein Buch« (da die Deutungshoheit so enorm wichtig wird), sondern eine lange überfällige Neuauflage des »Theorie des Style/Theory of Style« von 1996 von CHEECH H, SCUM aka CEMNOZ und TECHNO 169 aka STONE aka DON Karl. Grafische Gesamtkonzeption damals noch von Mirko Borsche, damals noch eher unter seinem Stylewriting-Graffiti-Street Art Pseudonym SMAL aus München bekannt. Meine Wenigkeit hatte damals auch eine Stylevariation von 1991 (gleich auf Seite 4 und 5) beitragen dürfen.

Das Teilchen kann direkt hier beim Verlag geordert werden und ist meiner Meinung nach für das Verständnis des Stylewriting/Graffiti von enormer Bedeutung:

And yet another book… No, this time not a Ratrace product a.k.a. »everyone who has ever wielded a can or ever realized styles is now publishing a book« (since the sovereignty of interpretation is becoming so enormously important), but a long overdue new edition of the »Theory of Style« from 1996 by CHEECH H, SCUM aka CEMNOZ and TECHNO 169 aka STONE aka DON Karl. The overall graphic concept at the time was by Mirko Borsche, who was then better known under his style writing graffiti street art pseudonym SMAL from Munich. My humble self was also allowed to contribute a style variation from 1991 (on pages 4 and 5).

As I always say? Alphabet is writing in a straitjacket…

Further works include DAZE, CHEECH H, PHASE2, DELTA, TECHNO169 (STONE), BANDO, DAIM, SHOE, SMAL, ATOME, BATES, SCUM (CEMNOZ), AMOK, PUPPET, SKENA, PAZE, CALEB, DARCO, and NEON.
