Nicht erst seit der EarthDay-Initiative nutze ich meine Kunst um auf das Thema Umweltschutz und die Sachverhalte die damit zusammen hängen aufmerksam zu machen. Es ist schwer vorstellbar, daß wir alle (eine ganze Menge also) als gemeinsame Menschheit agieren, aber es scheint tatsächlich in unserem eigenen Überlebensinteresse zu sein, daß wir uns vermehrt um unsere Umgebung kümmern, verantwortungsvoller mit vorhandenem Material umgehen und umdenken uns in das Kreislaufsystem der Natur einbinden. Mir selbst wurde das bei meinen zahlreichen Besuchen im Mittelmeer auf Formentera bewusst. Freuen wir uns auf eine saubere Zukunft ohne versteckte Verarschung. Seien wir ehrlich zu uns selbst.

Not just since the EarthDay initiative have I been using my art to draw attention to the topic of environmental protection and the issues that are related to it. It is difficult to imagine that we all (a whole lot) act as a common humanity, but it actually seems to be in our own survival interests that we take more care of our surroundings, deal more responsibly with available material and rethink the circulatory system of nature. I became aware of this myself during my numerous visits to the Mediterranean in Formentera. Let’s look forward to a clean future with no hidden fooling around. Let’s be honest with ourselves.
