Internationaler Kunst Wettbewerb gewonnen

Grundsätzlich stehe ich ja unhonorierten Ausschreibungen und Wettbewerbungen skeptisch gegenüber. Jetzt hatte ich an einem aber doch teilgenommen und schwupps gehöre ich zu den ausgezeichneten.

Das European Circular Online Museum hatte eine Ausschreibung zum Thema Upcycling veröffentlicht und ich reichte meine Installation »30 Minutes of fame für jeden« aus meinem alten Atelier in der Phrix Künstlergemeinschaft bei der Route der Industriekultur Rhein-Main aus dem Jahr 2012 ein.

Dort schuf ich aus im Sperrmüll gefundenen Objekten eine Skulptur, die totemähnlich vor den von mir erstellten Kunstwerken auf Keilrahmen-Leinwand thronte.

Won international art contest

Basically, I am skeptical about unpaid tenders and competitions. But now I’ve taken part in one and hey presto, I’m one of the distinguished ones.

The European Circular Online Museum had published a call for proposals on the subject of upcycling and I submitted my installation “30 Minutes of fame for everyone” from my old studio in the Phrix artist community to the Route of Industrial Culture Rhine Main in 2012.

There I created a sculpture from objects found in the bulky waste, which sat like a totem in front of the works of art I had created on stretcher canvas.

Stil ist das, was wir tun … Hier ist ein Beispiel einer Fassadengestaltung/artwork, die ich 2010 realisiert hatte. Das Original-artwork auf der Fassade des Gebäudes von Hausmeister Müller wurde 2019 abgebrochen. Also habe ich das Thema aufgefrischt, die Frankfurter Skyline an einem anderen Ort, in Steinbach / Taunus im August 2019, aufgesprüht. Willkommen zurück … 10 Jahre später. Immobilienaufwertung der anderen Art.

Style is what we’re doin‘ … Here is a example of a fresh facade, copied from an artwork I realised in 2010. The origin mural was deconstructed 2019. So, I spraypainted the topic refreshed, the skyline of Frankfurt at another place, in Steinbach/Taunus in August 2019. Welcome back … 10 years after … Real estate appreciation of a different kind.

Seit 2015 vergibt Fraport als spezielles und limitiertes Geschenk eine Tasse der Firma Mahlwerck mit meinem Artwork das ich ebenfalls 2015 am Busbahnhof des Terminal 1 am internationalen Flughafen Frankfurt auf einen Pfeiler im Rahmen der 400 m Graffiti Art Gestaltung sprühte. Das Motiv besteht aus einer Ansammlung Frankfurter Bookmarks, wie Waldstadion, Dippemess‘, Römer, eiserner Steg, Paulskirche, Alte Oper, Hauptbahnhof, Hammering man, Dom und Goetheturm vor der der Frankfurter Hochhaus Skyline.

Wenn ich mir die ansonsten recht einfallslosen, eintönigen und nahezu alle am Rechner generierten Motive der üblichen Frankfurt Mitbringsel-Geschenke anschaue, würde wahrscheinlich nicht nur ich das begrüßen, wenn das Motiv allgemein erwerbbar wäre.

Since 2015, Fraport has been dealing a cup of the company Mahlwerck with my artwork as a special and limited gift, which I also sprayed on a bus station in the context of the 400 m graffiti art design in 2015 at the bus terminal 1 terminal at Frankfurt International Airport. The motif consists of a collection of Frankfurt bookmarks, such as Waldstadion, Dippemess‘, Römer, iron pier, Paulskirche, Alte Oper, Hauptbahnhof, Hammering Man, Dom and Goetheturm in front of the Frankfurt skyscraper skyline.
If I look at the otherwise unimaginative, monotonous and almost all generated on the computer motifs of the usual Frankfurt gifts, would probably not only I welcome, if the motive would be globally obtainable.

Future bzw. zukünftiges Wachstum

Offen für Neues und Spontanes-Das Michel Hotel in Landshut bekam Ende November 2018 wie schon einige andere Hotels dieser Kette die erste Gestaltungswelle an personalisierten Motiven bzw. individueller Wandgestaltung für dessen frisch renovierte Zimmer. Farbreduziert, eher skizzenhaft und zeichnerisch ist der Duktus der Arbeiten eine gelungene Alternative zum ewig schreienden eines klassischen Sprühartworks. Alle Motive, wie immer, freihand ohne Hilfsmittel mit Farbsprühdose gestaltet.

Open for innovative and spontaneous artistic ideas are the Michel Hotel in Landshut, Bavaria which got the first tranche of individual spraypainted wall designs in November 2018. Each topic presents the singularity of the room. Reduced by colors, almost sketchy the ductus of the artworks are a successful alternative to the alltime screamy feeling of the most spraycan (and marketing) artworks. Every motif, freehand likewise without any tools , just spraycan.
