Im Rahmen der von mir aufgebauten Agentur Oxgygen-the Art Agency, damals durch die Medien Mitte der 90er als weltweit erste Agentur für Street Art, Graffiti Art und Urbane Künste tituliert, sprühte ich in der Halle des Exzess auf der Leipziger Straße 91 in Bockenheim 1996 eine Leinwandfläche für den so genannten Eta-Marathon, den heutigen Frankfurt Marathon. Zum Zieleinlauf der Laufenden stand die Groß-Leinwand aus 12 gerahmten Einzelkeilrahmen auf der Bühne der Festhalle in Frankfurt. Die Werke wurden dann meistbietend versteigert. As the runners crossed the finish line, the large canvas, made of 12 framed individual stretcher frames, stood on the stage of the Festhalle in Frankfurt. The works were then auctioned off to the highest bidder. If anyone knows anything about the whereabouts of the twelve 200 x 200 cm works, please feel free to contact me.

Genauer gesagt, wurde ich von meinem Mentor und GBF-Crewmember aus München Sven Christ/Katmando angerufen, daß ich ihm helfen solle, da er den Bühnendekorations-Job auf der Funkausstellung in Berlin nicht alleine stemmen könne und ich sofort kommen solle. Gesagt-getan: Einen Tag später saß ich im Auto nach Berlin und wir sprühten dort täglich neu für nahezu jeden live act den Bühnenhintergrund. Damals noch mit Sparvar Farbsprühdosen und alles noch ohne Internet-Bilder- oder Schlagwortsuche. Wir trafen unter vielen anderen Kid Paul, Ingolf Lück, Midge Ure (durfte ich aus dem Container holen), Nina Hagen (siehe Foto), Karl Dall, Gotthilf Fischer, Max Schautzer, Kaos (Terranova), Matt Bianco, Ted Herold und natürlich Thomas Gottschalk, Günther Jauch und den Dalai Lama (siehe Foto) … Weitere Infos auch hier: und auf youtube findet man noch einige Videos zum Schlagwort »IFA 1991 Die 2 im zweiten« und sieht unsere Backgrounds ziemlich gut.
